The decision was communicated by Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, during a high-level meeting in New Delhi. The ministry also confirmed that technical issues in the MNREGA and PMAY-G systems for Assam have been resolved and funds allocated as per the state's demand.
