NITI Aayog released a report titled Strategic Roadmap for Making Ayurveda Global, outlining a strategy to establish India as a global leader in traditional medicine. Launched by Vice Chairman Dr. Ashok Kumar Lahiri, the report proposes a phased roadmap up to 2047, aligned with the Viksit Bharat vision. The strategy focuses on enhancing global availability, ensuring regulatory acceptability, and strategic propagation of Ayurveda worldwide.

The Union Ministry for Rural Development launched the Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Yojana, which replaces the MGNREGA. The new scheme increases the legal guarantee of employment from 100 to 125 days per year and mandates an unemployment allowance if work is not provided within 15 days. The scheme has a financial outlay of approximately ₹1.51 lakh crore for its first year, with a special package of ₹7,707 crore announced for Andhra Pradesh for the next nine months.

The Ministry of Culture has invited applications for the Grant Year 2026-27 under its Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana (KSVY), a scheme providing financial assistance to promote and preserve India's cultural heritage. Eligible cultural organisations and artists can apply for various components, with deadlines of July 15, 2026, for the Guru-Shishya Parampara grant and July 31, 2026, for the Award of Senior/Junior Fellowships.

On the eleventh anniversary of the Digital India programme, the Ministry of Electronics & IT highlighted key achievements in the education sector aligned with the National Education Policy 2020. Initiatives like the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) and the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) have created a unified digital academic ecosystem, with over 110.65 crore academic records uploaded and 26.29 crore APAAR IDs created to date.
