The Department of Land Resources (DoLR) is working to integrate the Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN) with DIGIPIN, India's digital addressing framework, to enhance land governance. In a meeting chaired by DoLR Secretary Shri Narendra bhooshan, it was decided to launch pilot projects and develop an open API architecture. This integration aims to leverage ULPIN's unique land identity with DIGIPIN's precise location data for improved public service delivery.

The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) inaugurated the second batch of its certified arbitration program to develop a new generation of arbitration professionals. During the event, Dr. Rajiv Mani, Secretary of the Legislative Department, announced the government's plan to establish the Arbitration Council of India soon to strengthen the country's institutional arbitration framework. Chief Guest Justice AK Sikri remarked that arbitration has become a structural necessity for commercial dispute resolution.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) held a conference for Media and Communication Officers, where Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioner Dr. Vivek Joshi stressed the need to proactively counter false narratives. Dr. Joshi specifically urged officials to tackle emerging threats from AI, deepfakes, and synthetic content that are designed to erode public trust in the electoral process.

The National Rainfed Area Authority (NRAA) organised a national consultation in New Delhi to strengthen data generation and accessibility for India's rainfed regions. Dr. Chandra Shekhar Kumar, CEO of NRAA, highlighted that quality data is crucial for the effective planning and implementation of government schemes in these areas. The consultation aimed to create a platform for research organizations and state departments to improve data availability for sustainable development projects.

As part of the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah performed the Bhoomi Pujan for a proposed 125-foot statue of Dr. Mookerjee at Eco Park in Kolkata. The commemorative event, organised by the Ministry of Culture and the West Bengal government, was also addressed virtually by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The ceremony is part of a two-year nationwide commemoration that was announced in 2025.

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs adopted the 'Bhubaneswar Declaration' following a national workshop, establishing a roadmap to transform Tribal Research Institutes (TRIs) into centres of excellence. The declaration mandates the finalisation of a 'Model TRI Framework 2030' and a 'National TRI Research Agenda for 2027–2032' to standardise governance and research priorities. During the event, Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to the seven best-performing TRIs from Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Tripura, Maharashtra, Kerala, Telangana, and Jharkhand.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced an ex-gratia payment of ₹10 lakh each to the families of fishermen who have gone missing. The financial assistance is intended to provide immediate relief to the affected families within the state's fishing community.

The Chhattisgarh Council of Ministers has approved the draft of the Ease of Doing Business Bill, aimed at streamlining regulatory frameworks and fostering a more attractive investment climate. The proposed legislation, designed to reduce compliance burdens for businesses, will now be presented in the state assembly for consideration.
