The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has directed all recognised National Sports Federations for Olympic disciplines to publish their athlete qualification and selection criteria for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games by July 15, 2026. The initiative aims to enhance transparency and accountability, with the ministry stipulating that such policies for major international events should be publicised at least two years in advance.
